BIBLE STUDY WARNING GOD DOES NOT CHANGE (Mal 3:6, Heb 13:8) The life of Jesus reflects all of God’s covenant laws. He lived out God’s regulations of divine worship in the New Covenant (Ex Ch 20 – 23, Lev Ch 23, Heb 8:10, 9:1). The Bible tells us that GOD HAS ONE CHURCH OF BELIEVERS. This has always been His people Israel (Jn 17:18-23, Rom 2:28-29, 3:1, 9:3-4, 11:26). ISRAEL IS GOD’S EXAMPLE . All that happened to them are examples for us, that we should not crave evil things, as they also craved. T he Apostle Paul tells us that these examples were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come (1Cor 10:1-11). The Lord desires to write His laws on our heart. We also need to have His law in our mouth which will serve as a sign on our hand and on our forehead – the mark of the Lord (Ex 13:9, Jn 17: 14-23, Heb 8:10 ).
